We hope to see you at our next V.I.D.A. meeting.
The next VIDA meeting is scheduled for:
When? Saturday, January 12th at 11 a.m.
Where? Blanquita's on Santa Maria
Who can attend? The meeting is open to the public – anyone can attend. Everyone is welcome.
What should I bring? Bring your enthusiasm for an ethical and transparent government, and a pen and notebook if you’re the note-taking type. Although it is not required, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to bring a few bucks to buy a coffee or breakfast since meetings are generally held at a local restaurant.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
At the meeting on Saturday, January 12th (above), VIDA attorneys will be present to make statements to the press about the "VIDA lawsuit." To understand this lawsuit, see Richard Geissler's article, "VIDA does the math," in the December 2012 issue of LareDOS News, page 9.
In addition, on Monday, January 14th, VIDA will be in court at 10 a.m. at the 49th District Court in the Criminal Justice Center with Judge Shannon presiding. Once again, to understand the details of the lawsuit, click on the link above.
We ask for your support.
